WEEK 4 OPEN FORUM Hello class, I choose to explore and explain the third link. The campaign for action foster interprofessional collaboration. For example, the hospital utilizes interprofessional collaboration to deliver quality care to the patient where a doctor, nurse, pharmacist, social worker, and many more are involved. The campaign for action brings experts with better ideas to meet a common goal (Improving access to care, 2020). This campaign is pushing the nursing profession for a change where APRNs would be able to practice fully, which provides better access to high-quality and affordable care. After the campaign has begun, in the state of North Carolina, no progress has been made. Still, the nine states have removed legal barriers and allowed the independent practice to NP, and many others have made incremental improvement towards it. Reference Improving access to care.
