Children develop large motor skills when they can move and control their larger muscles
Small motor skills
Children develop small muscles, such as moving and controlling their fingers and wrists
Children will develop these skills further as they grow e.g. drawing and writing

A child’s eyesight and balance affect how well their large and small motor skills help them to

Muscles growth alone does not help children to develop new skills
