For example:
To be (is), to seem (seems), to become (becomes), to look (looks), to

to appear (appears), to get (gets), to grow (grows), to prove (proves),
to remain (remains), to resemble (resembles), to stay (stays), to turn
(turns) .

Watch out:
Als erna het koppelwerkwoord nog iets komt, dan is het een adverb
For example:

Watch out:
Not all words ending in –ly are adverbs. Some adjectives end in –ly.
For example:
friendly, lively, elderly, lonely, silly, lovely
He is a friendly man (= adjective)
He greets us in a friendly way (= adjective)

Watch out:
Some words are an adjective and an adverb:
For example:
fast, loud, daily, seldom (= most an adverb)

5. Adverbial of direction → to where
For example:

For example:

Position of adverbs and adverbials in sentence:
= Manner, (direction), place, (duration), (frequency) and time
