To introduce students to first conditional tense and practice speaking
for discussion of probable future events.
Lesson Type: Grammar Lesson Aims: To contrast the use of present simple and future simple in basic
sentences.

• Using present simple and future simple in the same sentence
could be a source of initial confusion for the students.
• Solution: Use graphic timeline provided in bibliography to
explain clearly.
