Nursing informatics is an exercise and science of incorporating nursing info and the
understanding with the technology to control and integrate health info (Murphy, 2010). The other
role is to advance the health of individuals as well as decreasing costs. Besides, it has a goal of
maintaining and developing medical data and systems to encourage quality care. Thus it is
needed to care for patient's safety. They enable accessing medical histories, lab and imaging
results, and medical lists as well as interdisciplinary notes to get a comprehensive representation
of the medical status of the patient.
The nurse informaticist's role is to advance information and communication technologies,
researchers, instructors, chief info officer, chief nursing officer, software concocts, execution
consultants, rule development, and business possessors to improve health care. They have the
responsibility of ensuring that the health care facilities provide high-quality patient care via
technical systems and efficient data. Again they have to analyze trends. For instance, they have
to assess the impact of the looming nursing shortage and increased specialization. The next role
is monitoring for any consistent with assisting the hospital in mitigating poor care. They are also
concept representations and principles to upkeep evidence-based practice in the health care field.
Additionally, nurse informaticist has the role of designing research approaches to distribute new
comprehension into exercise. Nurse informaticist has the purpose of defining the health care
policy to improve the health of the public. Moreover, they have the role of ensuring
