History of Present Illness (HPI):

A.M. is a 26-year-old Caucasian female presenting with a headache that
began three days ago. The headache is described as a throbbing, bilateral
frontal pain rated 7/10 in severity. The pain developed gradually and has
been persistent, with intermittent worsening. The patient reports associated
photophobia, phonophobia, and mild nausea, but denies vomiting. She
states the headache worsens with bright lights and stress and improves
slightly with rest in a dark room. Over-the-counter acetaminophen provided
minimal relief. She denies fever, neck stiffness, head trauma, visual
changes, weakness, numbness, dizziness, or loss of consciousness. No
recent infections reported. She reports increased academic stress and poor
sleep over the past week.
