Open JCN under the correct APL
Order a NIIN or NIINs on the APL
- if NIIN is not on APL, conduct research and work with MSC and then S1
Order NIIN and quantity. Quantities should not exceed QPA
- If QPA is suspected of being in error, coordinate with MSC to submit a
FCFBR
- If QPA is not in error, provide justification to the S1 email distribution citing
the NIIN, JCN, and justification
, • justification should also be annoyed in the job description (I.e. do. Not say
replace 1 light bulb but order 4)
• if justification is not provided within 24 hours of submitting the
requirement, then requirement will be reduced to QPA and processed.

UIC: unit identification code (21297)
Julian Date: 4 digits. 1st digit is the last number of the year (2020 in this
case). Next three digits identify the day in the colander year (274 = Oct 1st)
Serial Number: 4 digits. 1sd two digits identify dept. & div. That's ordering
material. Last 2 digits ranges from 00-99 (8125 = 8 : supply, 1 : s-1 div, & 25th
order)
Note a LEAP YEAR makes a difference
