Do not submit late work. Need to communicate
issues beforehand.
, First days of class
Introduce yourself in Class Café
Start clinicals day 2 of the first week. (Tuesday)
Email your professor your clinical site information
including your calendar of clinical days, the clinic
phone number and your preceptor’s phone number
BEFORE starting clinical.
Fill out verification form and quiz by day 7.
Lay out a reading and study schedule!
Invest in a good board review book. i.e. Leik, Hollier,
Fitzgerald, Barclay.
, Soap notes
You will have 3 SOAP notes due in PRAC. You must
pass 2/3 of them with 70% or more.
You will NOT be permitted any redos.
Do not use prior work for your SOAP notes.
We understand some parts of SOAP note are common
phrases. HOWEVER, the HPI, assessment with
differentials, plan and reflection ARE NOT!
SOAPS are specific to the topic you are studying that
week.
Must have preceptor signature and initials on each
page.
