Oral Activity: " Show and Tell"
Each Grade 4 learner brings a familiar household item (e.g. a toothbrush, spoon, or toy) and
gives a short oral presentation (1–2 minutes) explaining how to use it. They must include a
greeting, a step-by-step explanation using time words (first, then, next, finally), and a short
conclusion. The rest of the class listens and may ask one question after each presentation.
Objective:
To develop learners‘ ability to give clear oral instructions, use sequence vocabulary, and
improve confidence in speaking to an audience. The activity also develops listening skills
through the question-and-answer phase.
