A. Implementing Professional Growth Plan
Educators can improve their teaching practice by using a professional growth plan as a
systematic approach to create personal and professional goals. This encourages each student's
achievement in both their academic and nonacademic undertakings. Implementation of a
professional growth plan can enhance a teacher’s instructional strategies, content knowledge
and data use, and promote cultural competence and professional collaboration.
B. Nonacademic Need
One nonacademic need of my students is motivation and engagement.
C. Nonacademic Goals
1. Nonacademic Long-Term Goal
By June 1st, I will learn three new strategies that I can use to increase student motivation and
engagement during whole or small group math lessons.
