Exam
0.10 mm - ANS-the dimension of lash extensions that should be used on a client with fine
natural lashes
\30-60 days - ANS-the average length of the eyelash growth cycle
\4 hours - ANS-the number of hours required by TDLR for continuing education
\4 rounds - ANS-the number of times you should comb through the lashes to check for
separation of the lashes and stickies
\antiseptic - ANS-used to treat a minor cut
\bleach - ANS-can cause damage to plastics & some metals when used incorrectly
\blood exposure incident - ANS-used when you come in contact with blood at any point in the
service whether that be the clients or your own.
\cool dark container - ANS-where you should store glue so that it doesn't expire or go bad
\curved tweezers - ANS-used to isolate the lash that you will then be placing an eyelash
extension on
\demodex mites - ANS-can cause blepharitis which can lead to madarosis (loss of hair)
\every 2 years - ANS-you will be required to renew your license (up to 4 times)
\moisture/humidity/water - ANS-what causes the eyelash extension glue to cure
\Psoriasis - ANS-chronic skin condition producing red lesions covered with silvery scales
\Straight Tweezers - ANS-tweezers used to hold the side lashes away from the main isolated
lash
\stye - ANS-small infected bump on the eyelid that is red in color and can be filled with pus.
