1. What is the target form of the first
conditional (both clauses)? (F) The first conditional has the present simple after ‘if, then the future simple in the other
clause: if + present simple,...will + infinitive (condition and result )
E.G. if it is raining, we will have to cancel our plans.
2. What is the model sentence you will elicit to I will use a model sentence based on the topic and discussion about the Theme Park in the
begin your presentation? warmer e.g.If we arrive late at the Theme Park, we will have to wait in a long queue.
3. What are the negative and question Model sentence in negative form:
(interrogative) forms of your model sentence? If we don’t arrive early to the theme park, we will wait in a long queue.
(You might find there is more than one Form : If + Don’t + present simple, will + verb( future simple )
possibility, but you only need to show one Model sentence in question form:

intonation? (P) The interrogative structure is interrogative + will + verb(infinitive), if + present simple.

In negative form the auxiliary verb are usually contracted: Don’t
Main verb carries stress and any content words following the verb. The main stress falls
on the last content word in the clause.
Intonation
Question form: voice normally rises at the end.
Affirmative and negative forms : voice normally drops at the end.
