Linear Speed: Response The capacity to move the body as quickly as possible
in a single direction
Stride Rate: Response stride length, which determines how long it takes to
finish a stride cycle.
Length of Stride-ANSWER Increasing the force exerted on the ground
improves the distance travelled with each stride.
ANSWER: Stretch-Shortening Cycle An active muscle stretch (eccentric
contraction) that is immediately followed by a muscle shortening (concentric
contraction)
