Summary IEB English Paper II Notes - Literary essay and Editorial

From completing, looking and analysing numerous official IEB past papers (as well as their memos), I have formulated short simple notes that anyone can apply to any English Paper 2. These are my notes on the Transactionals and Literary essay section for IEB English Paper 2. This document includes notes on only the transactional Editorial (see others in separate note pack) and general notes on Literary essay writing. Editorial includes notes on what type of writing it is, format as well as key aspects this piece writing should have. Literary essay includes notes on how to unpack essay question, how to plan essay, format and discourse markers.I would highly recommend these notes for those of us who have no idea of how to study for an English Paper 2 or those of us that have never understood what the markers are looking for in our writing to get all the marks.
