MCD - Answer All CRJs: Make sure the pins are not protruding.
ERJ:
1. The lining cover is present.
2. The lock/vent flap lever (labelled "vent flap") is raised.
3. The escape slide lever (labelled "arming lever") is up.
4. The escape slide indicator has been disarmed.
5. The girt bar indicator is obvious.
6. The lock indicators are obvious.
7. The escape slide pressure gauge needle is in the green zone.
8. The caution strap is stowed
APU Service Bus - ANSWER CRJ 200 Only (FA Panel) Verify that the APU
service button is turned off.
Cabin and entry lights - ANSWER All CRJs (FA panel): ensure lights are
operational and test BRT, DIM, and OFF settings for each (ceiling, sidewall,
galley, dome, and boarding).
ERJ (FWDFA Panel):
Test BRT, DIM, and OFF for the ceiling, sidewalls, FWD entrance, and FWD
galley area.
, LAV Smoke Detectors (FWD and AFT) - Answer ERJ (FWD FA Panel):
1. Ensure the lavatory is empty.
2. Press the FWD LAVATORY SMOKE TEST button.
3. Listen for audible alarm from the FWD lavatory.
4. Look for an orange flashing light on the FA indication panel closest to the
lavatory.
5. Repeat the instructions for the AFT lavatory.
Reading Lights (PSUs) - Respond to all CRJs (FA Panel): Press TEST, gaze along
the length of the cabin at the power supplies, and then press OFF.
PSU Test - Answer ERJ (FWD FA Panel):
1. Press TEST to view the following elements as operational.
-FA indication panel
-PSU's reading lights
-FA Call Lights
-Lavatory lighting on the BRT
-FA Area Indicator Lights
-Lavatory occupancy signs on bulkheads
Panel Lights - Answer ERJ:
-Verify that the lights next to the buttons on the FA panel are active.
-Press and hold the TEST button to see the operational FA panel lights.
