Confidentiality - ANSWER Un-divulged and entrusted
information about another.
Accreditation - ANSWER A Non-governmental body giving recognition to a
facility or program that minimal competent levels have been met.
Certification - ANSWER A Non-governmental body that determines that minimal
competent levels have been met.
Licensure - ANSWER Permission to practice/function by a governmental body that
minimal competent levels have been met.
Active Treatment - ANSWER Promoting the client to be as independent as
possible.
Therapeutic Recreation - ANSWER Purposeful intervention with measurable goals
and direction in some social, emotional, physical, intellectual behavior to bring
about a change in development of the individual.
Recreation - ANSWER Fun and voluntary for its own value. The crazy things
people do to keep from going crazy. (to recreate energies).
Leisure - ANSWER Natural high quality of life, a state of being.
