We are delighted that you have chosen to join our DCP family. Our dedicated faculty and administration are committed to providing you with the support and guidance you need to successfully complete your doctoral degree. Now, let's delve into the DCP pathway and its role in achieving the doctorate. The Dissertation Completion Pathway, also known as DCP, is not considered an academic program. Instead, it is a specialized Pathway that has been created to assist students in successfully completing their doctorate degree. This program is specifically designed for students who began their studies at another institution but were unable to finish their programs. In order to qualify for this program, it is necessary to have attained candidacy at your previous university and maintained a satisfactory academic record. The success of DCP students hinges on three foundational courses that must be completed before moving on to the specific school for the dissertation or applied doctoral project. The DCP Pathway consists of three courses: DCP-8001 Scholarly Writing and Synthesis of Literature, DCP-8002 Designing Scholarly Research, and DCP-8003 Dissertation Intensive. These three courses offer a chance for the exceptional faculty, staff, and administration to educate and assist you in understanding the essential elements of the dissertation.
