(a) Advise him on the necessary remedy and who Mr. Mashabala should direct the complaint

1. Necessary Remedy and Complaint Recipient: Mr. Mashabala intends to sue the
reporter. To pursue this remedy, he should direct his complaint against the reporter
or the media organisation responsible for publishing the statement. Legal action
can be taken through a civil lawsuit for defamation or other relevant claims 1.
