Dissolve a spatula measure White ppt. which is soluble Chloride ion present
of the solid sample in dilute in both conc and dilute
nitric acid and add a few ammonia
cm3 of silver nitrate sol.
Add dilute/conc ammonia
sol.
Cream ppt which is soluble Bromide ion present
in conc. ammonia
Yellow ppt not soluble Iodide ion present
Sulfate ion and Carbonate ion
