Ending Script - ANSMy consumer is safe, warm, and comfortable. If I noted any changes, I

Washing Hands - ANS1. turn water on to a temp you like
2. wet hands
3. soap your hands up
4. lather: palms, back of hands, between fingers, thumbs, finger nails, wrists, under
rings/watches.
5. point hands down and rinse one hand at a time
(Hands can not touch, and you can not flick water)
6. tear paper towel and pat dry your hands, throw away
7. tear off another paper towel, and turn off sink
8. I am done
Putting on and taking off gloves - ANSOn:
1. Wash hands
2. check for holes filling glove with air
3. put glove on, and clasp fingers
Off:
1. on one hand pinch the wrist or middle of glove
2. pull glove off inside out
3. Crumple glove in other hand
4. put one or two fingers underneath the other hands glove
5. pull over inside out
6. throw away.
Mouth Care - ANS1. beginning script
2. gather supplies
3. wash hands
4. put on gloves
5. ensure the consumer is in proper alignment
6. ask if consumer would like a clothing protector
7. Wet toothbrush, apply small amount of toothpaste
8. brush consumers teeth in pattern for 2:30 minutes
9. assist consumer t rinse their mouth
10. consumer spits
, 11. ask if consumer wants their tongue brushed
12. repeat 8-10
13. ask if you can wipe their mouth
14. ask if you can remove clothing protector
15. ensure body alignment
16. clean up/disinfect
17. remove gloves/wash hands
18. ask consumer if their is anything you can get them.

Cleaning and Storing Dentures - ANS1. beginning script

3. wash hands/glove up
4. body position
5. line the sink and towel with washcloth/towel
6. ask for dentures from consumers
CLEANING
1. rinse dentures with cool water
2. wet toothbrush and apply a small drop of denture toothpast
3. brush inner/outer surfaces
4. rinse
5. place on clean towel
6. repeate steps for other dentures
7. rinse and place denture storage container on towel.
STORING
1. put clean cool water in denture storage cup
2. put dentures in
3. put away.

1. cover consumer with towel (diamond)
2. turn consumer on side
3. remove soiled pad underneath
4. as we remove it we are also placing a clean pad underneath as well
5. position legs
CARE
1. fold back towel
2. consumer tests water
3. wet wash cloth and apply soap
4. wipe front to back, from inside out all the way till groin (dispose wash cloth)
5. rinse labia and groin (dispose wash cloth)
6. pat dry (dispose cloth)
7. roll consumer on their side.
8. wet clean wash cloth, apply soap
