What skills and qualifications do you have that make you a good candidate for this position? - ️️- NCHS experience - County experience - I have created lots of educational materials ranging from powerpoint presentations to educate the public on certain health topics to newsletters and flyers containing helpful information and resources. I have experience working directly with community members and partner organizations and my strength of having strong communication skills allows me to work well when doing so. Ive worked with partners to help facilitste community events and have imteracted with community members at these events to try and engage them into learning about our services. Steps you take putting together health promotion materials - ️️1. I will research the health topic and the population I am trying to reach to see what information to include and find an effective eay to uktimately market that 2. I will create a draft including the helpful health information and ask for any resources others may find beneficial to include 3. I will review my draft and send it to my suoervisors for approval and make any changes necessary 4. once approved I will send out the health promotion materials to the target audience or I will go imto the community to promote the content Ive helped create by using incentives to gather peoples attention and try and engage them in the educational material I created What are some community health promotion materials and events you have created or taken part in? - ️️- Newsletters, eblasts, flyers, infographics for schools - Social media pages for regions - Regional events: National night out, love your heart, YMCA events, community garden event, etc. - outreach events at NCHS: perris round table meeting, educational events promoting healthy living, dental dive in events
