NAME OF INJURY WHY IS THIS A COMMON INJURY?
Pulling a muscle (Hamstring) In football,pulling a hamstring is very common
because most of the football players a in their thirtes
therefore they are not as fexible as others. They also
pull their hamstring because they don’t stretch
properly at the beginning of the match.
Eye socket fracturey In boxing, during a match it is very common to get
punched in the face. If they do and they do not have
vaseline on their face then the punch will have a
bigger efect.
Sprained ankle Athlete runners can sprain their ankle when running
and they land with their foot sideways. This is a
common injury because they can always land with
their foot wrong which can cause them to stop
partcipatng in the sport.Excessive force on ankle to
generate speed and power will result in injury.
Knee Runners can easily get patellofemoral pain syndrome
(PFPS).They normally sufer from PFPS afer a long
period of tme. They can stll perform in order for
them to get back to normal is to run as much as they
can without the pain and as soon as they get any pain
they should have a rest.
Finger Injury A volleyball player can fracture their fngers very
easily as they have no cover over them. They can also
get injured if players are not using the correct
techniques during a game, which is common.
