• Meet with the nurse quality manager (or equivalent quality role such as a nurse leader or organizational interprofessional) to complete the “Value-Based Nursing Care Readiness Assessment.” o It is recommended to meet with the same person initially interviewed and any additional professionals if needed. • Write an interpretation of the organization’s level of readiness based on the “Value-Based Nursing Care Readiness Assessment” results. • Collaborate with the nurse quality manager and nurse leaders to review the findings from the “Value-Based Nursing Care Readiness Assessment” and strategically plan for actions that must be completed to ensure readiness. • Write five recommended action items that must be completed prior to implementing VBC. o If the organization has implemented value-based care, complete the five action items from a retrospective viewpoint.
