Plan for a 2-article analysis
Introduction:
1. Introduce the ISSUE & provide a brief explanation of the BACKGROUND
2. Introduce the first article (TITLE, AUTHOR, PUBLICATION, DATE) AND briefly explain the CONTENTION
/TONE / STYLE / PURPOSE / AUDIENCE
3. Introduce the second article by using a comparative phrase: I.e. In contrast to… Adopting a very
different style… Arguing from a different perspective…Using a similar argument… Approaching the
debate from a similar perspective...Similarly etc.
4. Introduce article # 2: TITLE, AUTHOR, PUBLICATION, DATE) AND briefly explain the CONTENTION
/TONE / STYLE / PURPOSE / AUDIENCE
