1. MH triggering agents: - Depolarizing muscle relaxants (succs) - Volatile inhalation agents (iso/des/sevo-flurance) - Quinidine 2. MH onset: usually in 30 min from anesthesia start time (typically after pt receives succs) 3. MH Early Signs: Sinus tach, HTN, tachypnea masseter spasm all following increased ETCO2 4. MH other signs: muscle rigidity, cola-colored urine, metabolic & respiratory aci- dosis (late signs are rhabdo & hyperthermia) 5. MH urine output goals: 2 mL/kg/hr
