Ans. The eligibility condition for a member of the Lok Sabha:

 A person should be a citizen of India.

 He should not be less than 25 years of age.

 He should not hold any office of profit.

 He should not be mentally unsound or declared insolvent.

 He should not be a proclaimed offender.

 His name should be in the electoral roll in any part of the country.

2. Explain the term Parliament.

Ans. The Parliament is the supreme Legislature of the Union of India. It occupies a
seat of primacy in the Government of the country. It consist the President and the Two
House s to be known as the Council of States (Rajya Sabha) and the House of People
(Lok Sabha)

3. What are the essential qualifications for being a member of the Rajya Sabha?

Ans. To become a member of Rajya Sabha A person-

 Should be a citizen of India.

 Should not be less than 30 years of age.

 Should not be a proclaimed offender.

 Should not hold any office of profit under the government.

 Should not be a bankrupt or mentally unsound.

4. When were the last elections of the House of the People held?

Ans. The last elections of the House of people were held in 2019.
