B: Investigate a simulated crime scene using forensic
procedures
Investigating a crime scene
Incident: appears as a drug transaction where possibly an argument occurred
which lead to Rodger daltry moon becoming fatally shot in the abdomen.
Brief details of incident: the incident happened in the disused office building
on the unicorn industrial state. Arena security officer Jenkins reported hearing
from the ground floor rear office a gunshot and witnessed two persons run
from the building. He called the police.

Risk assesment of the crime scene:
The bullet could be dangerous, the drug packets, the blood from the body. The
bullet found at the crime scene could have reminents of gun powder on it
which can be dangerous if it gets on your skin and you touch your eyes you can
get eye inections or worse. This is why gloves should be worn throught and
especially when picking up anything from the crime scene. The blood from the
body is a contaminent because if your have a cut for example on your body
and the blood from the body transfers into that cut you could contract a
disease like HIV. To prevent this the disposable suit is required to be worn
throughout the investigation at the crime scene. If the drug packets are
touched when you are not wearing gloves you could get unknown drugs onto
your skin for example if those drugs contain even a small amount of fentanyl
than you could end up in hospital as it a dangerous drug specifically with many
terrible side effects.
Details of examination:
I drew a quick birds eye view sketch of the crime scene and then changed into
PPE: disposable suit, foot coverings, hair net and gloves. I then talked to my
team to discuss how we shoud label and enter the scene with a pathway that
will ensure we wont disturb any of the evidence. Summer had labels 1 and 2. I
had 3 and 4. Emilia has 5 and 6. Summer placed the 1st evidence marker on the
newspapers on the right to the entrance. The second evidence marker she
placed by the unshot or bullet caseing. I placed the 3rd marker by the body on
the floor lying by the bullet and the folded newpaper on the left. I then placed
the 4th marker by the blood spatter on the wall by the body on the left. Emilia
placed the 5th marker on the table away from the evidence to not contaminate
it. The table had two empty beer bottles on it and folded newspapers to the
right of the bottles. Ontop of the newspapers was a small open tin which
contains about 5 small see through plastic bags of possible carcinogens. Finally
