"Or bid me go into a new-made grave and hide me with a dead man in his shroud—" - Juliet- Irony What is the purpose of including the conversation with the servants? - For comic relief What happens to the wedding date? - It gets moved up another day, to Friday What is Juliet's consent? - That she will marry Paris and she already saw him at Friar Lawrence's cell What will Juliet do if the Friar cannot come up with a remedy/plan? - She will kill herself What is the Friar's plan? Be specific and include details. - Juliet is to go home and agree to marry Paris. Then she has to make sure she is alone Wednesday night. And she is to take the vile and mix the contents with liquor and drink it. Then her pulse will stop, her flesh will be cold, she will stop breathing, her lips and cheeks will be pale, and they will all think she is dead all for 42 hours. They will then dress her up and put her in an open coffin and put in the Capulet family tomb. Romeo will come and wait until she wakes up them run away with her to Mantua. What information does Juliet now know that Romeo does not? Why would this be important? - That she is just sleeping, so he doesn't kill himself when he sees her 'dead' What is the sign of a good cook? - If they can lick their fingers to test the food What does Juliet tell her father when she returns home? - She is truly sorry and she realized it was a sin to disobey your father, so she will marry Paris.
