Requirements for Nursing 2019–2020

Admission Requirements for Nursing Program Students must meet the following criteria in order to be considered for admission to the nursing program: I. A cumulative grade-point average of 2.8 or higher II. A minimum of 10 prerequisite courses completed A. A minimum cumulative grade-point average of 2.8 or higher in all prerequisite natural sciences courses. A letter grade with a point value of 2.00 or higher is required for each of the prerequisite natural science courses (BIO 107, 108, 221, CHM 101 and 103); students may repeat only one course to remove a W or to improve a grade. B. A letter grade with a point value of 2.00 or higher in all non-science prerequisite courses (ENG 105, ENG 106, PSY 210, PSY 315, PSY 327 and the 2 math courses); students may repeat only one course to remove a W or to improve a grade.
