CYB-210-Q3404 Project One Computer Networking | Computer Network Modification. This assignment will describe the steps take to construct the network to adhere to the requirements per the scenario given for the network provided. I have provided the screenshots so as to better show my work. The following was to be completed: Add free guest wireless internet for the customers Install cameras that monitor the front desk and the waiting area. Reconfigure the current network to support the new hardware. The required hardware is currently on the premises; therefore we acquired the cameras and wireless router from what was already on hand. To prepare the network to work with the newly acquired hardware we have to reconfigure the current switch on hand first. Once selecting the existing switch, I click on the Command Line Interface (CLI), within the CLI I type a command (Fig. 1) which adds as well as names the new VLAN which will be for the wireless router’s network named “Guest”. I re-typed the command again to augment as well as name the new VLAN that will support the camera’s video network (Fig. 2). Shown in figure 3 is the VLAN table which shows both VLANs (70 & 80) being added while still maintaining the previous on hand VLANs (50 and 150) are still in place and fully configured. After, we must physically connect the wireless router to the switch via a copper straight-through cable. We allocated FastEthernet0/7 on the router and Ethernet 1 on the wireless router to physically connect it. The port located on the switch (FastEthernet0/7) was allotted to VLAN 70 through
