, CH3-PAIR OF LINEAR EQUATIONS IN TWO VARIABLE(ONLY GRAPH PART)
After reading this pdf now you will be easily able to solve graph question
from chapter 3 of CBSE class X whether the lines are intersecting, parallel
or coincident .Lets begin with it
👉minimum points required to form a graph is 1 and maximum points
required are 3
👉CASE 1:Intersecting Lines
Condition for the lines to intersect is 𝑎1
𝑎2
𝑏1
≠ 𝑏2
If two equation satisfy this condition then both the lines meet each
other at a point.
TIP:First, compare both the equation with general formula which is 𝑎𝑥 2 +
𝑏𝑥 + 𝑐 = 0 and find the value of 𝑎1, 𝑎2, 𝑏1, 𝑏2, 𝑐1, 𝑐2 .
Second,if it satisfy the condition of 𝑎1
𝑎1
≠ 𝑏1,then the lines
𝑏1
representing equation will be intersecting. So you need only one point in
case of intersection as by using single point which is a same point you
can intersect lines.
Third, solve the both equation either by elimination
method then use the value of X and Y to plot the intersection point
