In this Occasion , we will be discussing Practice Paper
1 for the GCSE exam. To aid in your revision, I have
included a list of useful videos for both tiers of the
exam along with everything you need to know videos.
Each question in the video has a timestamp along
with a full lesson next to it, giving you the flexibility
to watch any part of the video at any time. These
questions cover commonly appearing topics in Paper
1, making it a good source for revision; however, it is
recommended that you refer to other videos as well
to ensure comprehensive coverage of all topics. The
initial pages provide an opportunity to build
confidence early in the exam. It is much easier to gain
one mark on the first page than it is to gain one mark
at the end of the paper. Approach these questions
carefully.For example, writing three-fifths as a
percentage requires us to have a denominator of 10
or 100.

If we analyze the given numbers - 400, 20, 370, 152,
and 200, we can arrange them in ascending order as
shown: 20 152 200 370 400 Therefore, we sold wheels
on three days, and we can represent this data using a
pictogram. To do so, we can create a key where one
crisscross represents four wheels. This way, we can
depict how many wheels were sold on each day, as

, shown: On the other hand, Amy spins a fair, eight-
sided spinner. There are three A's, one B, and four C's.
To determine the probability of landing on C: We
know that there are no D's on the spinner. Hence, the
total number of possible outcomes is: 3 (A's) + 1 (B) + 4
(C's) = 8 The number of favorable outcomes is 4 (C's).
Therefore, the probability of landing on C is 4/8 = 1/2
On the probability scale, we represent an impossible
event by 0. Hence, we can mark the probability of
landing on C for part B as a big cross on the half that's
a probability it'll land on C.

Dave went to a cafe and purchased two cups of coffee
and a piece of cake. The cost for each cup of coffee is
£2.75, while the cake costs £2.90. Dave pays with a £10
note and wonders whether he will get more than
£1.50 back in change. To get the answer, let's add up
the cost of everything first: Two cups of coffee = £2.75
x 2 = £5.50 A piece of cake = £2.90 Total cost = £5.50 +
£2.90 = £8.40 To find out how much change Dave will
get, we need to subtract the total cost from the
amount paid: Amount paid = £10.00 Total cost = £8.40
Change = £10.00 - £8.40 = £1.60 Therefore, Dave will
receive £1.60 in change, which is more than £1.50.
Akira has 90 counters and wants to make a pattern
using all of them. Let's figure out how to do this: We
can start with a number and keep adding three to get
the next number in the sequence. For example: Start
with 10 Add 3 to get 13 Add 3 again to get 16 Continue
