Learning Aim B - Assess the feasibility of the event proposal.
In this task, I will be considering my event proposal’s feasibility and contingencies.
Feasibility study is an assessment of the practicality of a proposed plan or method, whilst Contingency is a
backup plan that takes in the possibilities of a negative outcome in the future.
Managerial and Staffing Feasibility
My team doesn’t not have qualified and experienced staff on board as it is everyone first time doing an
event. However, my team do have the skills needed like good mathematical skills when dealing with
finance, or excellent communication and negotiation skills when selling tickets to customer for profit. Empire
has enough staffs to cope with the scale of the event. Training for the staffs is solely dependent in how
capable they are, as some of the employees may require little training which can be done within a short
period of time, whilst some will require a great deal of training which can be long.
A contingency for this will be having some highly skilled staffs on standby as if the Empire employees
cannot complete their task to adequate standard, then they can be replaced or helped with some who can,
as it can prevent any altercation within the event.
