Differences
• Conformity and obedience both involve
social pressure.
• For conformity pressure is imagined no
explicit requirement to act in a certain
way.
• For obedience pressure comes from being
explicitly ordered or instructed to behave
in a particular way.
• In conformity those who influence us are
our peers (equals).
• Status involved in obedience to authority.
