1. Explain why the precolonial Khoekhoe continued hunting and gathering despite having easy access
to the meat and milk of their livestock. (5)
Looking at the precolonial Khoisan they believe in their livestock they also valuing their wealth in their
stock. The reason they continue to hunt is because the more the is because the more they use their
livestock the more they become poor and poor. They continued to hunt despite having their livestock
because that’s their symbol of wealth.
2. Briefly explain why BOTH the San and the Khoekhoe practised migration during the precolonial period
