Overview of the function:
Salivary glands are the one of the parts of digestive system.
It’s produced saliva that soften the food that we’re eating, so its
easily to swallow.
Mouth helps in the digestive system by converting/chewing the
food from lump of food to smaller bits, so it would be easier to
swallow as well.
Oesophagus is where the food taken after being swallowed. It
has epiglottis that folds your windpipe which prevent you from
being choked and it has peristalsis (contraction of muscle) that
transport the food into your stomach.
