,Executive summary
This project is about the fintech company Adyen. Adyen is a Dutch payment company that allows
businesses to accept online payments. Adyen has more than 3,500 customers and is listed on the
stock exchange Euronext. In this integral analysis, the profile of the company is described, a business
analysis has been carried out and a SWOT analysis has been carried out. Finally, a forecasting has
been developed and conclusions and recommendations have been drawn up on the basis of this.
It can be said that there is still a growing e-commerce market. In addition, Adyen is growing rapidly
in the number of customers, which offers Adyen opportunities to continue to innovate its already
existing and proven software. The SWOT-analysis has shown that Adyen has opportunities to grow,
the company is financially very healthy, there are few competitors and technological progress is
increasing. On the other hand, Adyen is dependent on its customers and a threat like the corona
crisis does not make things any better.
The prediction is that Adyen's price will rise slightly in 2021. In the longer term, Adyen has more
chance of a growing price again.
