The nursing practice issue related to this topic is hospital acquired infection. Just in a few words, hospital acquired infections are invasions by pathogens into the body of an individual who is either working or admitted at health care facilities. One of the things that things that contribute to this issue is failure to constantly wash hands by nurses as they attend to the patients. Briefly describe your rationale for your topic selection. Include the scope of the issue/problem. The main reason that compelled me to select the above topic is that many nurses assume that they are always safe in the hospitals. They tend to imagine that the people that are unsafe are those outside the hospital exposed to different health hazards.
