This assignment asks us to consider our current company, and describe and critique the budgeting processes that is used for our organization. Our budgeting processes are challenging because of the ever changing demands of the plant as it is upgraded and refined. As stated by Hilton and Platt (2016), the budget is a key tool for planning, control, and decision making in virtually every organization. The five purposes of budgeting systems are: to force planning, to facilitate communication and coordination, to
