Title: Title: To investigate the safety of rides at Alton Towers, UK
The aim of this project is to investigate strategy to prevent accidents at Alton
Towers entertainment park.
Objectives:
To identify current practices put in place for customer safety
during the rides in the park.
To assess the current policies related to safety at Alton Tower.
To be able to recommend better strategies for improved safety
and security for customer rides at Alton Towers, London.
Rationale: The rationale for selecting this topic
The rationale for this project is to understand which safety risks are on the
roller coaster and if it is possible to prevent and minimise accidents for users
(IAAPA, 2018). Also, the selection for this topic is to understand if such
structure should be banned as lots people think it is too dangerous and to
discover if there is enough awareness between users about the risks and
the new health issue (Forums.retgo.com, 2018). Besides, the number of
people who died during a ride on the roller coaster by personal health
condition are not taking into account as themes park does not make any
responsibility for such people. Unfortunately, many users are going to such
attraction without have been diagnosed and unknowing about their health
condition they have, and often those are resulted as at high risk of accidents
(News.bbc.co.uk, 2018)
