1. How to use this pack
What this pack is: a bank of ORIGINAL exam-style questions written to mirror the style, mark
allocations and topic spread of TRL2604 assessments, with full worked answers. Every question was
written from scratch; none is taken from Unisa exam papers.
Typical TRL2604 format (check your current tutorial letter / myUnisa): in recent years the module
has used online quizzes with five-option multiple-choice questions (1 mark each) and a written final
assessment of long, often case-study-based questions (e.g. roughly 70 marks over 2 hours). Formats
change, so always confirm the current year's arrangements on myUnisa.
How to use it: (1) Do Section A under timed conditions (about 1 minute per MCQ). (2) Mark yourself
with the memorandum and re-read the explanation for every wrong answer. (3) Attempt each
Section B question on paper BEFORE reading the model answer. (4) Use the appendix notes to fill
gaps.
Prescribed textbook referred to for topic coverage: Pienaar, W.J. & Vogt, J.J. (eds) Business Logistics
Management (Oxford University Press Southern Africa). The 5th edition (2016) has been widely
used; a 6th edition was published in November 2025. Use the edition your tutorial letter prescribes.
