- Parasagittal: Unequal sizes
• Proximal: Closer to the specific point/joint
• Distal: Farther away from specific point/joint
• Medial: Closer to the middle of the body
• Lateral: Away from the Midline of the body(side).
• Superficial: Closer to the surface
• Deep: Farther away from the surface
• Cranial: Toward the head
• Caudal: Toward the heel
