• There are three colour modes in InDesign. You can create, save, an
apply process and spot colours to objects, strokes and text.
• The colour you save can include tints, mixed inks and blended
gradients. There is the following colour modes: Lab, CMYK and RGB
InDesign has got a default Cyan, Magenta Yellow and Black (CMYK)
colour mode.
• CMYK are process colours. These are the colours used for printing.
RGB colours are used for display or electronic purposes only. RGB
stands for red, green, blue. CMYK are called process colours. The
colours are for printing purposes. Whether you are using digital pri
or traditional print like lithography, you still need to use CMYK colo
