Heredity - natural process by which traits are passed on from parents to offspring,
either through sexual or asexual reproduction

TERMINOLOGIES
Allele
- member of each pair of genes
- occupies the same locus
Dominant allele
- masks the effects of a recessive allele if two are paired together on a gene
Recessive allele
- expression is masked if dominant allele is present
Homozygous *written in both uppercase (dominant) or both lowercase (recessive)
