non trauma - illness—ANSWER--major trauma - gunshot, syabbing. crash
pathways rules out until cant rule out anymore, doesnt diagnose, most life
threathing first—ANSWER--if answer is unsure, depending on balance of
risk, it will answer as yes or no, after 3 unsures clincian is called
illness and injury must be considered, sometimes the illness is more
serious—ANSWER--height of major fall - 4 metres or more height of double
decker
3 metres for under 12 height of single decker
singincant blood loss—ANSWER--adult: 2 hours 1 mugful
child: half a mug in 30 mins
toddlers: quarter in 30 mins
baby under 1:egg cup over 30 mins
, adrenal insufficiency—ANSWER--lack of steriod hormones cortisol and
aldsterone by adrenal glands
controlled with medication
times of stress, illness body needs more hormones
addisonian crisis - lack of hormone

glucagon—ANSWER--A protein hormone secreted by pancreatic endocrine
cells that raises blood glucose levels; an antagonistic hormone to insulin.
low blood sugar - 4.0 high - 27.9
major blood loss—ANSWER--adult: 2 mugful in 2 hours
