NURSING CARE OF CANCER PATIENTS Anna is a 45 year old woman who presents to the clinic for an annual physical exam and some physical concerns she would like addressed .She has a family history of breast cancer ,with both her mother and grandmother having been diagnosed and treated for the disease .Anna has several risk factors for developing cancer ,in addition to her family history .Anna is a single mother to three teenagers and is obese ,a regular smoker ,and has diabetes .She is non compliant with both her diet and diabetes medication to help control her blood glucose levels. Despite her age and family history ,Anna has never had a mammogram. During the visit ,anna expresses various unusual signs and symptoms that may indicate the development of cancer.
