-they might be on the border for delusional but are not psychotic



Schizoid Personality Disorder: - ANS ✔✔Cluster A: Impaired social relationships; inability and
lack of desire to form attachments to others

, -difficulty expressing emotions, not emotionally reactive, seen as being cold or distant
(introverts)



Schizotypal Personality Disorder: - ANS ✔✔Cluster A: Peculiar thought patterns; oddities of
perception and speech that interfere with communication and social interaction

-excessive introversion, oddities in thinking/talking and other behaviors



Cluster B: - ANS ✔✔Individuals with these disorders share a tendency to be dramatic,
emotional, and erratic.



Histrionic Personality Disorder: - ANS ✔✔Cluster B: Self-dramatization; over-concern with
attractiveness; tendency to irritability and temper outbursts if attention-seeking is frustrated



Narcissistic Personality Disorder: - ANS ✔✔Cluster B: Grandiosity; preoccupation with receiving
attention (being admired) ; self-promoting; lack of empathy for feelings of others



Antisocial Personality Disorder: - ANS ✔✔Cluster B: Lack of moral or ethical development;
inability to follow approved models of behavior; deceitfulness; shameless manipulation of
others; history of conduct problems as a child

-if there is no intervention between age of 8 they are less likely to be rehabilitated



Psychopathy/Sociopathy - ANS ✔✔Cluster B: is often confused with antisocial personality
disorder; however in psychopathy more attention is paid to personality characteristics such as
superficial charm, lack of empathy, and manipulativeness.
