Review
1. Behavior Intervention Plan (BIP) Review
● [ ] Operational Definitions: Have I refreshed my memory on exactly what the target
behaviors (e.g., aggression, elopement) look like so I don't miss a count?
● [ ] The "Why" (Function): Do I remember the function (SEAT) for each behavior? (e.g.,
Is this tantrum for Attention or Escape?)
● [ ] Antecedent Strategies: What should I do before a behavior occurs to prevent it
(e.g., choice-making, high-p request sequence)?
● [ ] Consequence Procedures: What is the exact plan if the behavior occurs? (e.g., Is it
Planned Ignoring or Redirection?)
2. Skill Acquisition Plan Review
● [ ] Active Targets: Which specific skills are we working on today? (e.g., "Identifies blue,"
"Ties shoes").
● [ ] Prompting Hierarchy: What level of help am I supposed to give? (e.g., Am I using
Most-to-Least or Least-to-Most prompting?)
● [ ] Reinforcement Schedule: How often am I giving the reward? (e.g., Is it after every
single correct response, or an average of every 3?)
3. Prior Session & Communication Review
● [ ] Last Session's Notes: Did the client have a high rate of behaviors yesterday? Did
they master any programs?
● [ ] Caregiver/Environmental Updates: Did the previous RBT note any illness, lack of
sleep, or medication changes?
● [ ] Supervisor Instructions: Are there any specific "flags" or adjustments my BCBA
asked me to implement today?
4. Data Integrity Check
● [ ] Measurement Method: Do I know how I am measuring each behavior today? (e.g.,
am I using a clicker for frequency or a timer for duration?)
