Abstract
In this paper, I will discuss two different issues I have encountered in my classroom this
year. The first being heightened levels of absent students, which will be discussed using
qualitative data. The second is a larger number of students than usual who mix up and confuse
the events of Ancient Greece and Rome, even though they are not taught together. This is being
discussed with quantitative data in mind.
