Essay 4To Eat Meat or Not to Eat Meat
You see meat everywhere in all shapes and sizes, for example in your salad or as a sandwich spread.
Not everyone loves meat like me and my family does. It is hard for me to understand that some
people do not want to eat meat for several reasons. Even though I love meat, I am in favor of eating
less meat because they say eating lots of meat has a bad influence on our climate, our nature and
also on our health. Maybe I need to hop on the vegan trend, because do we still need to eat or not to
eat meat?
The human needs several nutrition to survive. Meat contains parts of those nutrition you need to
functionate. So, if you do not want to eat meat you need products that replace that nutrition for
meat. The problem is that not all of that nutrition can be replaced, vegan people are getting
supplements to get that nutrition. Which means it is not a complete diet because you still are not
getting the adequate protein. Meat also helps to keep your blood sugar levels stable. Steady blood
sugar is critical in preventing type 2 diabetes, as well as other chronic diseases. It also helps to keep
the energy levels steady and creates a feeling of satiety between meals, reducing cravings for
unhealthy foods.
